CT Safety Team Conference Scholarship
This scholarship was founded to allow Oklahoma CareerTech adjunct instructors the opportunity to attend the annual CT Safety Conference. We recognize that adjunct instructors are a vital part of the CT Safety Team and we hope to encourage their attendance to our conference. An application can be found below. For the 2024 conference, applications must be submitted by October 28th to be considered.
What can I expect if I am selected?
Conference
The conference is a 2.5 day event that welcomes safety trainers, safety instructors and safety professionals from around the CareerTech system and from around the state of Oklahoma. You can expect to participate in unique industry tours from local companies, network with many other safety professionals, hear from dynamic guest speakers dedicated to occupational safety, receive regulatory and industry updates from OSHA representatives, attend breakout sessions designed to keep you updated on the newest and most recent safety trends, and make professional connections with our vendors and sponsors.
Food & Hotel
All meals during the conference will be provided. We believe in our dollars supporting the restaurants and food vendors of our conference host location; as such, the majority of our meals will be provided by local businesses. Additionally, hotel accommodations for two nights will be provided.
Entertainment
While the specifics change from conference to conference, our goal is provide some type of nightly entertainment activity for Day 1 and Day 2. For example, past events have included escape rooms, casino nights, murder mystery dinners, game nights, trivia nights and restaurant socials.
Attendance
Scholarship recipients must attend the entirety of the conference. This includes the Day 1 Industry Tour and evening activity, Day 2 Conference and evening activity and Day 3.
